Brand new boat so very very little to compare it to. Rating is provisional as a result. New England, with a similar wind regime as Nova Scotia, has one of this boat rated at 102. That boat, however, had a carbon fibre mast and very little downstairs. A +3 rig adjustment is being made to compensate for this boat having an aluminum mast, and another +3 adjustment is being made for the boat being equipped for boat camping, with a fridge, toilet and so on below. Lastly, the boat qualifies for the recreational adjustment. Given that the boat is a brand new design there should be a review of performance before too many years pass. |
